About
We run AppLovin accounts and write down what we learn.
Metaply is an AppLovin advertising specialist for ecommerce brands. One channel, done properly, with measurement we built ourselves.
Who
Isaac Reyna founded Metaply and runs the AppLovin accounts it manages. Every guide on this site is written from that account work: what was set up, what broke, what the dashboards disagreed about, and what fixed it.
Where the platform came from
Metaply started as a measurement layer for Shopify stores: server-side events, custom conversion events, and Orders API recovery so ad platforms received a clean purchase signal instead of whatever the browser pixel managed to fire. It shipped as a Shopify app and improved Meta results for brands doing $8M to $19M a year.
When AppLovin opened to ecommerce, that same event layer turned out to be the thing most launches were missing. It is now the infrastructure under our agency work: we seed AppLovin with a store’s purchase history before spend starts, and we reconcile what AppLovin reports against Triple Whale and Shopify.
How we think about it
AppLovin is not a channel every brand should run. Our promise is narrower than “we’ll make it work”: find out whether AppLovin is incremental for your brand, and if it is, scale it profitably. That means saying no to brands that are not ready, publishing our failure modes alongside our results, and never quoting a projected number as a result.
